Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam led by Vice-President Le Ba Trinh, visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, on Thursday.

The members of the delegation laid a floral basket before the native home of the President in Mangyongdae in humble reverence.

Being briefed on the glorious revolutionary history of the President and members of the patriotic and revolutionary family of Mangyongdae, they looked round historic relics with interest. They also went round the revolutionary relics on Mangyong Hill.

They also toured the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace, the United Front Tower, Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm and Pyongyang Metro and enjoyed the grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang", winner of Kim Il Sung Prize.
