Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Dancing parties of youth and students took place in different parts of the country on Friday to mark the 63rd birthday of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Dancing parties took place in various parts of Pyongyang including the plazas of the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the Arch of Triumph and the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium.

As song "My Country Holding the General in High Esteem" resounded forth, the participants enthusiastically danced to the tune of songs "My Country Is the Eternal Country of the Leader", "Let's Love My Motherland," etc. with unbounded reverence for President Kim Il Sung.

Amid the playing of songs including "Our General Is the Best", "Let's Sing of the Dear General of People" and "His Ideal" they presented pleasant dances, recollecting the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il has performed by demonstrating the dignity and might of Kim Il Sung's Korea.

All the participants danced to the tune of songs "I Will Devote My Youth to the Country" and "March of Korean Youth" reflecting the revolutionary enthusiasm to exalt the honor of being a reserve combat unit, a special detachment of the Supreme Commander in the on-going general offensive under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

On the same day dancing parties of youth and students also took place in each province seats, cities and counties.
