Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- The second day events of the 17th ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships took place at the Taekwon-Do Hall on Friday.

The events were watched by working people, school youth and students and sports fans in the city.

Prizes were awarded to the excellent contesters.

The following are standings in the events:

Yun Chung Nam (DPRK) took the first place in the men's individual pattern games of A degree, Jin Hak Min (DPRK) in the games of B degree, Shen Zhenzhe (China) in the games of C degree and Ri Myong Jin (DPRK) in the games of D degree.

Tagaynazarova Madina (Tajikistan) placed the first in the women's individual pattern games of A degree, An Yun Mi (DPRK) in the games of B degree, Kim Hyang Sim (DPRK) in the games of C degree and Je Kal Un (DPRK) in the games of D degree.

DPRK players placed the first in the men's team pattern games, Tajikistan players the second and players of the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan the third.

In the women's team pattern games DPRK players took the first place, those of Russia the second place and those of Tajikistan and the Czech Republic the third place.
