Beijing, September 8 (KCNA) -- Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie called for promoting the national defense mobilization and recruitment.

Speaking at the 7th plenary meeting of National Defense Mobilization of the Jinan Military District held in Luoyang recently, the minister underscored the need to make effort to accelerate the innovative development of the national defense mobilization for the security and overall development of the country.

Units at all levels should attach importance to recruitment, make a deep study of new issues concerning the work and take relevant measures, he added.
