Beijing, September 8 (KCNA) -- A forum marking the centenary anniversary of the 1911 Revolution was held in Beijing on Sept. 2.

Zhou Tienong, president of the C.C., the Revolutionary Committee of the Nationalist Party of China, told the forum the 1911 Revolution was a great milestone of the Chinese people in the revolution for reshaping their destiny.

The president said China has developed into a civilized socialist country, vigorous politically, prosperous economically and greatly conducive to human society.

Zhou called on all people to turn out in the effort for a peaceful reunification and prosperity of the country.
