Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- After proclaiming the founding of the DPRK on September 9, Juche 37 (1948), President Kim Il Sung sat together with Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero, for lunch.

The President, appreciating her painstaking effort for aiding him in his work, offered her a glass of wine.

The toast was the first ever since the country's liberation from the Japanese colonial rule. It was never taken in those days of founding the Party and the Army.

She said since the President founded the Party, the Army and the Republic she had nothing to want more.

So much pleased with the founding of the Republic, the President, after drinking the toast, sang a song and the hero had a dance she did during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.
