Moscow, September 8 (KCNA) -- Russian President Dmitri Medvedev recently congratulated oil and gas workers on their holiday.

In his congratulatory message the president called for raising the efficiency of energy resources development, modernizing the infrastructure of transport, finding out new deposits and making investment in the hydrocarbon processing.

It is important to increase scientific and technical potentials in all sectors in line with the new plan of technical development and pay close attention to ecological protection, he added.
