Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino has ordered the release of 4.95 billion pesos (117.30 million U.S. dollars) to improve the Armed Forces of the Philippines capability to protect the country's territory.

The amount is divided between the capability requirements of the Philippine Navy and Philippine Air Force. The government clarified this Wednesday.
