Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) issued a statement on Sept. 8, calling for turning out in the struggle to drive the U.S. armed forces out of south Korea.

The U.S. forces have committed all kinds of crimes and regularly staged DPRK-targeted war exercises in south Korea, depriving the Koreans of the wealth they collected by sweat of their brows, the statement noted.

The U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK has been intensified since the present regime took office, in particular, it added.

The statement urged the U.S. to replace the Armistice Agreement with a peace agreement and withdraw its forces from south Korea.

Pomminryon would promote the reconciliation and unity in the spirit of "By our nation itself" and give a strong impetus to the struggle for independence and reunification against the U.S., the statement said.
