Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang" is going on at May Day Stadium in Pyongyang, drawing many people. This year's is the seventh performance.

"Arirang" won Kim Il Sung Prize in 2002 and entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2007.

Spectators admire the extravaganza for its magnificence, grandeur and high artistry based on national feelings.

The performance represents the past, present and future of the Korean nation.

After enjoying the performance, a high-ranking official of the United States said the mixture of physical culture and arts was a new discovery.

Applications for "Arirang" have steadily increased among foreigners.
