Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- Leong Wai Meng, vice-president of the International Taewon-Do Federation (ITF), voiced satisfaction over the 17th World Taekwon-Do Championship being held successfully in Pyongyang.

Leong told KCNA on Saturday that the opening ceremony of the championship was held in a peculiar way. He said he came to know through matches that DPRK players have high techniques.

He admired the Taekwon-Do Hall built magnificently under deep care of leader Kim Jong Il.

He vowed to do his best for a successful championship in the native country of Taekwon-Do.

He also said he was deeply moved by the grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang".
