Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- The Bangladesh People's League issued a statement on Sept. 6 in support of the statement issued by a spokesman for the Disarmament and Peace Institute of the DPRK Foreign Ministry.

Referring to the statement of the spokesman for the Institute, the statement said:

The present ruling forces of south Korea adopted it as a policy to totally deny the June 15 joint declaration in which the north and the south agreed on the reunification proposal and the proposal for achieving reunification by federal formula.

What proposal for reunification the north and the south of Korea choose is an issue decisive of the destiny--peaceful reunification or disasters of the nation.

In order to save the inter-Korean relations from catastrophe and achieve the peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula it is necessary to realize the proposal for achieving reunification by federal formula based on co-existence.

We will extend full support and encouragement to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their struggle to improve the inter-Korean relations and achieve the peaceful reunification of the country at an early date as indicated in the June 15 joint declaration.
