Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- Joint friendship meeting between the participants of 17th ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships and working people here took place at the Taesongsan Pleasure Park on Monday.

Present there were Kang Nung Su, vice-premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Kim Kyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, Ryang Man Gil, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee who doubles as chairman of the organizing committee of the 17th ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships, officials concerned and working people here.

Present there on invitation were Jang Ung, president of the ITF and its vice-presidents and members and the participants of the championships.

Speeches were made there.

The participants of the meeting had sports and amusement games such as running together with empty bottles stringed with wooden sticks inside them and running with a ball between foreheads, deepening friendship.

The meeting ended with a dancing party.
