Beijing, September 11 (KCNA) -- Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the C.C., the Communist Party of China, underscored the need to promote the work for popularizing theories at a recent meeting with media officials.

Liu said that to successfully carry on the work, it is imperative to have a view that the people are the best and pay priority to important issues concerning the development of the party and the state and drawing common interests of the cadres and the people.

He stressed that theorists and media organs should jointly take part in the work for popularizing theories to make people deeply aware of the success in innovating theories, line and policy of the party.
