Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Lectures, photo exhibitions and film shows were held in Romania, Guinea, Mexico and India from Sept. 1 to 3 on the 63rd birth anniversary of the DPRK.

On display in the venues of the photo exhibitions were photos on the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in founding and developing the DPRK. Other photos introduced the great vitality of the Songun politics and the Korean people in their efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful nation.

Appreciated at the film shows were Korean films "Reply of Korea" and "Arms of Korea".

Daniel Dediu, chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association, said that on Sept. 9, 1948, the President founded the DPRK, a country for the people, for the first time in the 5 000 year-long history of the Korean people and provided the single-minded unity of the whole society.

Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, praised the noble popular traits of the President who, always regarding it as his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven, went among the people all his life to share destiny with them.

Benigno Gonzales Villasana, chairman of the Mexico-Korea Friendship Association, referred to the significance of Kim Jong Il's recent visits to Russia and China and praised the leadership exploits of the peerlessly great man who ceaselessly developed the county into a socialist state of Juche with invincible might.
