Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) ? The south Korean newspaper Hangyore carried an article denouncing the authorities' sycophancy toward the U.S.

Voices calling for drawing a lesson from the U.S. failed economic policy now in the grip of financial crisis are heard from across the world, the article said, and continued:

It is only the present chief executive of south Korea who asserts that the expansion of welfare leads to an economic crisis, complete misinterpretation of the cause of the financial crisis.

The present "government" enforced the policy for tax reduction for the rich, the policy of benefiting big businesses and the wealthy people only, increasing financial deficit. The "government" also squandered staggering amount of money for the four big rivers improvement project which will bring no benefits.

This reminds one of the U.S. which spent astronomical amount of money for war while maintaining the policy of tax reduction for the rich.

The representative of the "Grand National Party" said to the former U.S. ambassador in Seoul shortly ago that "he feels regretful" that "the motion calling for ratifying FTA" failed to pass through the south Korean "National Assembly", the article said, deploring the authorities' servitude of blindly kowtowing to the U.S.
