Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The 6th National Martial Art Championship for September 10 Prize opened with due ceremony at the Taekwon-Do Hall on Thursday.

It brought together at least 500 men and women players from 13 units including Taekwon-Do teams of Pyongyang and various provinces. They will compete in Taekwon-Do, Go game, Ssirum (Korean wrestling), Wushu and other events.

Present at the opening ceremony were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials concerned.

Kim Kyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, made an opening address.
