Moscow, September 14 (KCNA) -- A vice defense minister of Russia said the country would form arctic brigades.

He, in a press interview on Monday, said the brigades would be supplied with uniforms specially designed to suit for the climate condition of the North Pole and weapons and other military equipment capable of properly working at temperature as low as 50 degrees centigrade below zero.

The Ministry of Defense will adopt all decisions in November as regards the location of the brigades and their equipment and material and technical supplies, he added.
