Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The 66th session of the U.N. General Assembly was opened at the U.N. Headquarters on Sept. 13.

Present there were delegations and delegates of over 190 countries and regions including the DPRK.

It will discuss items including the peaceful settlement of disputes, the reform of the U.N., prevention of disasters and measures for it and sustainable development.

The 65th session of the U.N. General Assembly closed on Sept. 12.
