Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Myanmar has been making efforts in anti-human trafficking especially since 2005 when it promulgated the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Law, claiming that over the six- year period, the government had punished over 2 000 human traffickers.

Many trafficked victims were rescued during the period.

It is reported that the government will take some fresh measures in combating human trafficking.
