Tehran, September 15 (KCNA) -- The Bushehr nuclear power station, the first of its kind, went into operation with due ceremony in Iran on Sept. 12.

The power station with production capacity of one million kw is expected to produce 40 percent of the electricity at the initial stage and after two months it will be in full capacity operation.
