Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- The Chongjin Chemical Fibre Mill in North Hamgyong Province successfully updated the rayon production process based on its own efforts and technology.

After completing simpler design suited to the specific conditions of the country in a brief span of time, the mill launched the drive to simplify several processes.

Through repeated discussions and scores of tests the mill succeeded in introducing unified sulfuration method for the smooth production of liquid raw material.

It also solved technological problems arising in introducing cooling and heating device to the filtering process with its own efforts.

The workers and technicians of Rayon and several other shops successfully introduced new technology to the scouring process, ensuring safer production.

They also laid a technological foundation for computer-aided control of the production processes.
