Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Performances of art groups of women's union organizations from across the country are going on at the People's Palace of Culture.

Enjoying the performance Friday were senior state officials, a chairperson of a friendly party, officials of ministries and national institutions and working people in Pyongyang.

Colorful numbers included chorus "We Have Waited for You", solo "My Country under Bright Sun", kayagum ensemble "My Daughter-in-Law", dialogic poem "Family Members of Mangyongdae and Blessed Women" and poem and story "Women Remembered by General".

The performers sang high praises of the undying feats President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed in strengthening the Juche-oriented women's movement.

The audience was deeply impressed by the performance which showed the happy appearance of the Korean women dynamically pushing one of the wheels of the revolutionary chariot under the care of the peerlessly great persons and their pride and honor of contributing to building a powerful nation.
