Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- Lectures, Korean book and photo exhibitions and film shows were held by different organizations and companies in various countries from September 6 to 9 on the 63rd birthday of the DPRK.

These organizations and companies included the Nepal-Korea Association of Men of Culture, the Kampala City Committee of the Uganda National Resistance Movement, the Tanzanian National Coordinating Committee of the Juche Idea Study Groups, the Tanzania-DPRK Friendship Association, the Voskhod-Agrotsekh Co. Ltd. of Russia, the Millenia Armada Express Company, the Soumudra Jaga Raya Company and the P.T. Dwi Mitra Perkasa of Indonesia.

On display in the venues were the works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and books and photos on their exploits.

The participants of the film shows watched Korean films including "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and "Reply of Korea".
