Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- British organizations issued statements on the 63rd anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy said in a joint statement on Sept. 8: After the liberation of the country President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK, the genuine people's regime which reflected the unanimous aspiration and will of the Koreans. The DPRK built a socialist system centred on the popular masses, free from exploitation and oppression, by firmly adhering to the Juche-based stand, without copying foreign things. The DPRK has turned into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, thanks to the wise leadership of the President. The Juche cause of nation-building has been successfully carried forward under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il. The DPRK had access to nuclear deterrent for self-defence and resolutely shattered all the moves of the hostile forces to stifle socialism. The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy will give wide publicity to the feats of the President in nation-building. The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in a statement on Sept. 9 praised the feats he performed by founding and strengthening the DPRK. |
