Beijing, September 16 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly refuted the "international religious freedom report" released by the U.S. in a press conference on Sept. 14.

China firmly opposes the report issued by the U.S. Department of State as it infringed upon the religious practice in China and interfered in her internal affairs, the spokesperson noted.

Recalling that different nationalities of China enjoy religious freedom according to the law, she urged the U.S. to do more to help develop the Sino-U.S. relations.
