Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- A national seminar on the subject of "Juche-Oriented Socialist State with Invincible Might" was held in Mexico on September 9 and commemorative meetings in Russia, Ecuador and Pakistan on September 8 and 9 to mark the 63rd birthday of the DPRK.

At the national seminar in Mexico, the president of the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, who doubles as the president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, spoke. He said that since its foundation the DPRK has covered the road of victory and glory under the banner of the Juche idea, the Songun idea for more than sixty years under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

He noted Kim Jong Il is demonstrating before the world the dignity and might of the DPRK, extending sincere congratulations to him on his recent successful visits to Russia and China.

The general secretary of the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions said the founding of the DPRK was an event of a great significance in the world history.

The chairman of the All-Russian Society for the Study and Dissemination of Kimilsungism and the chairman of Kim Jong Suk Women's Union of Russia noted the people of the DPRK armed with the Juche idea are defending the country's sovereignty by dealing heavy retaliatory blows at the imperialists.

The chairman of the Ecuadorian Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung said the President built the DPRK into a socialist state, independent in politics, self-sufficient in economy and self-reliant in national defence by putting forward the line of building Korean-style socialism completely different from other countries.
