Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement and peasant organizations of south Korea held a press conference outside the puppet National Assembly building on Sept. 16. They accused the NA Foreign Affairs, Trade and Unification Committee of contemplating bringing up for discussion the "motion calling for ratifying the FTA."

Saying that the agricultural destruction and threat to peasants' right to existence is becoming a reality, they reiterated their will to resolutely check the conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. FTA.

If the agreement is tabled, lawmakers who were involved in it will face punishment, they warned.
