DPRK's Anniversary Celebrated in Different Countries

Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Meetings, photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Bulgaria, South Africa, Iceland and Pakistan between September 4 and 7 on the 63rd anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Displayed at the venues were photos on the feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in nation building and the vitality of the unique Songun politics of the Workers' Party of Korea. Films shown included "Pyongyang at Night". Present at the events were officials of political parties, organizations and Juche idea study organizations of relevant countries. They included the Bulgarian Communists Union, the Bulgarian Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Kim Il Sung Library in Sofia, the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party, the South African Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Korean People, the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society, the National Workers' Party of Pakistan, the Pakistan Trade Union Federation, the Pakistan Organization for Afro-Asian People's Solidarity and the Pakistan Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification and masses. A congratulatory message and letter to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the events in Bulgaria and Pakistan. |
