Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- A rapid support team of south Korean marine corps and the third team for logistic support of the U.S. marines recently staged a joint exercise aimed at "improving the posture of logistic support" with hundreds of equipment involved in North Kyongsang and Kyonggi provinces. Meanwhile, the south Korean military is contemplating introducing from Israel new type anti-tank missile and latest "Spike NLOS" missile capable of attacking the DPRK's coastal artillery pieces and deploying them on Yonphyong and Paekryong islands.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

The south Korean authorities should immediately stop their saber-rattling against the north, cogitating about what consequences will be entailed by their reckless acts of going against detente and peace.

The above-said war moves only drive the situation on the Korean Peninsula into the escalation of tension contrary to the trend of times, thereby bringing to bolder relief the ulterior aim of the confrontation maniacs to mar the atmosphere of dialogue and peace, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The joint exercise for logistic support staged by the south Korean warmongers together with the U.S. and their arms-buildup on five islets in the West Sea of Korea are by no means helpful for dialogue and peace as they are meant to increase military threat and pressure and provoke a war of aggression against the north. Reality clearly proves that the south Korean bellicose forces do not want detente and peace on the peninsula and the improved north-south relations but seek a way out in confrontation and war.

Not only south Koreans from all walks of life but even those within the ruling quarters strongly call upon the authorities to make an immediate switchover in their "policy towards the north" which deteriorated the inter-Korean relations quite contrary to the trend of times and opt for dialogue and the improvement of relations with the DPRK. Nevertheless, the south Korean warmongers blinded by confrontational hysteria are still going reckless in pursuance of war.
