Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- The European Union (EU) decided to extend the implementation period of the measure to compulsorily check radioactivity in foodstuffs from Japan.

EU took the measure in late March after Japan's Fukushima nuclear accident. The measure will be extended until the end of the year.
