Beijing, September 18 (KCNA) -- A compulsory tree-planting movement has been conducted by an organ directly under the authority of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Over the past three decades the organ planted a total of 4 916 000 trees in mountainous areas and its gardens.
