Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Various foreign delegations and delegates arrived here on Monday to participate in the international academic symposium celebrating the 65th anniversary of Kim Il Sung University.

They are a delegation of Beijing University led by Cheng Zhaoxiang, director of the Foreign Languages Institute of the university, a delegation of Jilin University of China led by Secretary of Party Committee Chen Dewen, a delegation of the Harbin Engineering University led by President Wang Shuguo, a delegation of Liaoning University led by Deputy President Guo Yongxin, a delegation of Yanbian University led by President Kim Pyong Min, a delegation of Dailan Foreign Languages School led by its Director Dr. Sun Yuhua, a delegation of Dailan University of Technology led by Director of Mathematics Science School of the university Lu Yufeng, a delegation of Zhongshan University led by its Deputy President Dr. Chen Chunsheng, a delegation of Huazhong Agricultural University led by Prof. Meng Jinling, a delegation of Dongbei University of Education led by its Director Dr. Wang Deli, and Nam Myong Chol, chief of Korean Language Faculty who is delegate of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Associate Prof. Huang Dahua who is delegate of Qingdao University of Marine, Vice-President of Entai University Ding Fengxi who is delegate of the university, Prof. Xiao Shufen, who is delegate of Yangzhou University, Prof. Kang Po Yu who is a delegate of Shanghai Fudan University, Prof. Kim Hae Ung who is delegate of Chinese People's University, a delegation of the Ministry of Education of China led by An Yufeng who is deputy head of the Office of the ministry, Prof. Christian Kirchner who is delegate of Hummbolt University in Berlin, Prof. Eric J. Ballbach who is delegate of Free University in Berlin, a delegation of Far Eastern Federal University led by its Vice-President Andrei Babco.

Arriving here earlier were a delegation of the Yanbian Education Publishing House of China headed by its Vice Director Kim Chun Gun, Prof. Pak Kon Il who is delegate of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nam Myong Chol, chief of the Korean Language Faculty of Qingdao University of Science and Technology of China, who is delegate of the university, Prof. Holmer Brochlos who is delegate of Free University in Berlin, Germany, a delegation of Moscow M. V. Lomonosov State University led by its Deputy Faculty Chief Galina Kedrova, Associate Prof. Sergei Alkin who is delegate of Novosibirsk State University of Russia, Department Director Alexander Zhebin who is delegate of the Institute for Oriental Studies of Russia, Pak Ki Sok, director of the Korean Language Institute of Australia who is delegate of the institute, and Prof. Luong Van Ke, delegate of the University of Social Sciences and Human Studies of Vietnam.

Arrival here included a delegation of educators of Joson University of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan headed by Kang Song Un, curator of its library.

Also arriving Monday was a delegation of the China International Publishing Group headed by its Vice-President Lu Cairong.

Meanwhile, the delegation of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations headed by its Vice-President Wang Zaibang left here for home on Monday.
