Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Venezuela has bluntly refuted Friday US accusations of little cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking, and asserted that Washington is the world's main promoter of drug consumption and trafficking, said Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro, in a press conference in Caracas.

Maduro told Prensa Latina that this and other accusations made by Washington against Venezuela during this year, show there is a desperate strategy to try to isolate Venezuela and break its internal order.

The US and other countries -said Maduro- wave the flag of drug trafficking as instrument of blackmail, to try to impose political and economical models on other nations, asserted the Venezuelan FM.
