DPRK's Anniversary Marked at Its Missions Abroad

Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- Receptions, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place at the DPRK missions in Shenyang and Hong Kong of China, Nakhodka of Russia, Cambodia, Nepal, Pakistan, Syria, Indonesia, Myanmar, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Switzerland and the UK between Sept. 2 and 9 on the 63rd anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Displayed in the venues were works of the peerlessly great persons and photos on their undying feats and books and photos on the course of victory and glory covered by the DPRK. Films shown included Korean films "The Tower of the Juche Idea", "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and "Pyongyang at Night". The mayor of Pokino City of Maritime Territory of Russia said the visit paid by leader Kim Jong Il to Russia this time was a political event which excited the world. He hoped the Korean people would register greater successes in building a thriving nation under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il. The prime minister of the Yangon Regional Government of Myanmar noted that as President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK the Korean people could hew out their destiny independently and creatively as full-fledged masters of the state and society and demonstrate before the world the dignity and honor of Songun Korea. The spokesman for the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) (leader) praised Kim Il Sung as the peerlessly great man who liberated the country, founded the DPRK and built it into a powerful nation independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence. |
