Beijing, September 20 (KCNA) -- The completed Dandong-Haicheng express highway was opened to traffic in Liaoning Province, China on Sept. 17.

The highway, linked with the Shenyang-Dalian express highway, is 143 km long. The project started in October 2008.

The new traffic service will help step up the development of the regional economy.
