Moscow, September 20 (KCNA) -- An official spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry recently warned against the attempt at deploying missile defense system (MD) in Europe.

Dialogues between Russia and the U.S. and between Russia and NATO are repeatedly proving ineffective as the deployment of the U.S. components of MD system is progressing apace, he said.

Russia intends to secure a legal guarantee that MD system in Europe is not targeted against his country, he noted. In case there is no such guarantee, we have no other way but to adopt relevant military and technological decisions, he stressed.
