Tehran, September 20 (KCNA) -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for the unity of regional countries.

He said that the developments now taking place in the region will lead to solidarity, unity and authority of all monotheists in the face of arrogant powers.

"Iran has stood by all justice seeking nations to the end," said President Ahmadinejad at the closing session of the First International Conference on Islamic Awakening here on Sunday.
