Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) ? A national exhibition of consumer goods opened with due ceremony in the DPRK.

On display at the exhibition are more than 35 000 consumer goods produced by light industrial factories in Pyongyang and other industrial establishments and units producing daily necessities under the ministries and national institutions, local industrial factories in various provinces, etc.

Its opening ceremony took place at the Central Light Industrial Sample Exhibition on Wednesday.

Present there were Vice-Premier Ro Tu Chol, Minister of Light Industry An Jong Su, Minister of Foodstuff and Daily Necessities Industry Jo Yong Chol and others.

Ro Tu Chol made an opening address.

The exhibition will involve competitive shows, dissemination of new technology, etc.

The exhibition will last till September 27.
