Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Rallies for solidarity with the Palestinians took place in Lebanon and Jordan on Sept. 20.

Hundreds of people gathered outside the United Nations headquarters.

They said that the Palestinian statehood is based on the natural, legal, historical right of the Palestinian people.

They fully supported Palestine's bid to UN membership.

The participants in the rally in the capital city of Jordan positively supported the Palestinian people's struggle to build an independent and sovereign state.

They rejected Israel's moves to seize the land from the Palestinians eternally and called for realizing the right of the Palestinian refugees to return.
