Tehran, September 22 (KCNA) -- The minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran in an interview with the IRNA on Monday scathingly accused the NATO of its moves to deploy the missile defense system.

NATO's plan to deploy the MD in Turkey can never be justified, he said.

This is very harmful to the regional countries, he noted, warning that the presence of foreign forces in the region will erode confidence among countries and lead to the encroachment on their sovereignty in the long run.
