Service Complex and Open-air Skating Rink to Be Built

Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- A modern service complex and people's open-air skating rink will be built on the picturesque bank of the River Taedong.

The complex to appear on the bank of the River Taedong in front of the Central Youth Hall will have all latest facilities for such services as bath, barber's shop, hair dressing, etc.

The skating rink will have round ice rink, spectators' seats and cultural and welfare service facilities and all other amenities for skating.

The complex covers an area of over 17 400 square meters and that of the skating rink more than 9 660 square meters.

Young builders are now pushing forward the structural project of the skating rink in the wake of their completion of its groundwork.

The digging for the groundwork of the service complex has been done 50 percent and concrete placing about 30 percent in the construction site of the complex.

Officials and builders there are pushing ahead with the projects at a rapid tempo.
