Beijing, September 22 (KCNA) -- A calligraphic and art exhibition was held at a hall of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference from Monday to Wednesday to mark the centenary of the 1911 Revolution.

On display were 120 calligraphic works and 83 art pieces collected from throughout the country.

The art pieces portray historical events that occurred before and after the 1911 Revolution, while the calligraphic works contain poems and verses composed by those who took part in the Revolution and proletarian revolutionaries.
