Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- The Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain on Sept. 12 posted on its Internet homepage a photo of President Kim Il Sung standing together with Kim Jong Suk, a woman commander of Mt. Paektu, and an article dealing with her noble life on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of her demise.

The article dealt with the undying exploits of Kim Jong Suk who devoted herself to ensuring the personal safety and good health of the President from the stand as a bodyguard in the period of the grim days of the anti-Japanese war and in the period of building a new country.

It cited concrete historical facts to introduce the brilliant revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Suk who firmly upheld and implemented the ideas and line of the President and honorably carried out all the tasks given by him during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

It also praised Kim Jong Suk for performing exploits after the country's liberation which would always be brilliantly recorded in the history of army building.

It introduced her revolutionary activities. She visited every nook and corner of the country to encourage the broad masses to build a new country, true to the President's line of nation-building, it noted.

Her noble life always remains shining along with prospering DPRK, it concluded.
