Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Traitor Hyon In Thaek, who was dismissed from the post of Unification Minister of south Korea, asserted at a recent resignation ceremony that his tenure of office was "emotional and exciting days" and "a natural conclusion would be made one day.”

Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

Hyon has earned an ill-fame as a wicked confrontation maniac. He tried hard to justify his crimes committed against reunification even in the scene of being ousted from his office, judged by the people. This is an unpardonable mockery of the compatriots aspiring after national reconciliation and unity.

The Ministry of Unification has so far seen the replacement of many ministers. But there has been no such wicked confrontation maniac as Hyon and no such brazen-faced guy as this guy who impudently justified his wrongs.

By what he uttered about his job done in the past he meant that history would positively estimate his deeds. This is nothing but a cock-and-bull story.

It is quite evident that Hyon has nothing to say except those rigmaroles because what he had done during his office is nothing but acts of treachery.

Hyon is the most wicked top-class criminal to be judged by history.

He, though alive, is no more than a dying politician hated and forsaken by all Koreans.

No desperate efforts to cover up his crimes and prolong his remaining days would bring him anywhere.

He will have to realize every moment what a high price he has to pay for his treachery and acts of chilling the desire of the Koreans for reunification.
