Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- The council for the solution of the issue of the volunteers corps in south Korea and south Korean federation of women's organizations staged a demonstration in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul on Wednesday denouncing the Japanese government for evading its responsibility for settling Japan’s past crimes, Yonhap News of south Korea said.

The demonstrators accused the Japanese foreign ministry of sidestepping the issue of settling Japan’s past, letting loose sophism that the issue of compensation for the damage done to the comfort women had already been settled legally.

They chanted slogans urging the Japanese government to honestly opt for the solution of the issue of comfort women.
