Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Cuautemoc Amezcua Dromundo, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico, on Sept. 19 released a statement titled "Invincible party led by the great Comrade Kim Jong Il" on the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Kim Jong Il is successfully carrying forward the idea of President Kim Il Sung, the founder of the WPK, on party building and his leadership feats, the statement said, and went on:

Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK on June 19, 1964. This is a great event in the history of the WPK.

He has since built up the WPK into the party struggling with the Juche idea as the guidelines, a mass party which enjoys absolute support and trust of the people and an invincible party.

Under his wise leadership the WPK has demonstrated its might as the eternal party of the President and the powerful guiding force of the Songun revolution.

Kim Jong Il has strengthened the WPK into the invincible and iron-willed party and the standard bearer of the world's socialist movement under the uplifted banner of Songun.

The world revolutionary parties and progressives struggling for socialism are pushing forward the building of a new society, greatly encouraged by the invincibility and victorious advance of the WPK led by Kim Jong Il.

Under his wise leadership the WPK will always demonstrate its might as the organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people and the invincible revolutionary party.
