Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, addressing the General Assembly's 66th high-level plenary session on Wednesday, clarified the stand of supporting the Palestinian independent state.

It is the just right of the Palestinians to demand the recognition of the Palestinian independent state in the UN, he said.

Lebanon supports the Palestinian bid for UN member statehood, he noted, stressing that Lebanon will support the just struggle of the Palestinians, in order for the latter to succeed.
