Tehran, September 25 (KCNA) -- A military parade took place in Tehran, Iran Thursday on the occasion of the “Sacred Week of Defense.”

Present there were senior Iranian military officials including Iran's Armed Forces Joint Chief of Staff and minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics.

The country's armed forces, units of various services and arms of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, police forces and Basij militia voluntary forces took part in the parade.

It was also participated in by various types of missiles, tanks, armored cars and other combat hardware.
