New Delhi, September 25 (KCNA) -- Bird flu broke out in West Bengal State, India.

Fowls were recently confirmed to have been infected with avian influenza virus H5, according an investigation result there.

Steps have been taken to stop the spread of the diseases and cull the infected fowls and eggs on the spot.
